It takes about 7 to 12 minutes to walk. We are 1 kilometer from the center of town and it’s really safe to walk around town.

Boquete has plenty of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and pharmacies with North American health products and medicine.

Unfortunately, The Haven has a policy of no children under the age of 18. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this policy. We provide a true haven for all our guests -- a place of tranquility. The Haven is set back in a very peaceful oasis. Members and guests are frequently receiving massages and relaxing treatments.

We offer a variety of quality treatments, from massages to facials and body scrubs. Staff training is ongoing and professional to assure you a safe and relaxing experience.

Drinking water is safe, however at The Haven all the water goes through additional triple filters and is Ultra-Violet so it’s pH balanced, clean and safe to drink from the tap.

The language of the country is Spanish. Most of the hotel staff speak English, and because it's a town that welcomes a lot of foreigners, many locals also speak English, especially in tourism-related businesses.

Don’t forget your travel insurance.

Continental Breakfast at Koji Kafe is included with your room, between 8-10 am. This consists of fruit, cheese, toasted house bread, 2 eggs cooked to order, and coffee or orange juice. (A full breakfast menu is also available for those who desire.)

There’s several pharmacies in town, and a few doctors and dentist offices. Two private hospitals in David, with extremely reasonable prices, For strains, sprains and acute type injuries, we have an excellent physical therapist working in the hotel that we can call.

Included in your stay. Use of the gym, exercise pool, infrared sauna, steam room, hot tub and relaxation areas.

There are two laundromats in Boquete. They will wash, dry and iron your laundry at a reasonable price. If desired, our staff can have your clothes sent out for cleaning.

Anyone over 18 years old can access our spa & gym. You don’t have to be a guest at the hotel. Prices depend on the time of year & whether it’s a daily, weekly or monthly pass. For guests and members, complimentary herbal teas and chilled water are always available in our tranquility room.

All our rooms have AC units, however, Boquete is really fresh and most of the time quite cool. You will likely find that you don't need air-conditioning. All our rooms also have a ceiling fan; either way you’re sure to be comfortable.

The internet is unmatched by any location and it's free and wireless all around The Haven. We also have options when it comes to internet. If you need a US VPN we’ve got you covered.

Tea and coffee are always available at our facilities.

There's a Mini Bar in every room; these items have an extra charge. You will find: Beer, Perrier Water, Bottled Water, Soy or Almond Milk and Champagne.

The water at The Haven is triple filtered and goes through UV light. It is safe to drink and fill your water bottles before going to town, but buying bottled water is always an option. All rooms have a safe deposit box. Every room is for a maximum of two adults. Only one of our rooms has two beds (two twin beds). All the other rooms have one king bed or one queen bed.

For us, the temperature sits perfectly between 60° and 80° F (16° and 28° C) all year round.

Low season known as the 'green season' is from mid-May through to mid-November. Generally, it rains later in the afternoon, whereas the mornings are usually wonderfully sunny.

High season also known as the 'dry season' starts mid-November through to mid-May. Most days are filled with sunny blue skies, however, the dry season isn't totally dry, as Boquete can experience the occasional light shower. The winds can whip up around January to February bringing with them a light mountain mist that floats over Boquete that we call "Bajareque". We get pretty amazing and bright rainbows whenever there is mist, so look out for them.
